This article is a quick list of all games in the Strider series, as well as crossover games that feature the characters and settings of the series.

Strider series[]

  • Strider (CPS-1). Released March 1989 for Arcades. Ported to the following:
    • Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, PC-DOS. Released September/October 1989. Developed by Tiertex, published by U.S. Gold. Only released in Europe.
    • Mega Drive/Sega Genesis. Released September 1990. Developed internally by Sega.
    • Master System. Released 1991. Developed by Tiertex, published by Sega. Not released in Japan.
    • Sharp X68000. Released November 1992. Only released in Japan.
    • PC Engine. Released September 1994. Developed by Dice Creative, published by NEC Avenue. Includes brand-new cutscenes, an extra stage and red audio quality soundtrack. Only released in Japan.
    • PlayStation. Released February 2000 (bundled with Strider 2) and 2006 (as part of the Capcom Gamebooks series). Developed by Use Corporation.
    • PlayStation Portable. Released March 2006 as part of Capcom Classics Collection Remixed. Not released in Japan.
    • PlayStation 2 and Xbox. Released November 2006 as part of Capcom Classics Collection Volume 2. Not released in Japan.
    • Mobile phones. Released February 2010. Taken down in March 2018. Only released in Japan.
    • Wii Virtual Console. Released November 2011, taken down in January 2019.
    • PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable. Released August 2014 via PlayStation Network as part of Strider 2.
    • Nintendo Switch. Released February 2021 as part of Capcom Arcade Stadium. Mega Drive port released October 2021 as part of the "Sega Genesis Expansion Pack" on the Nintendo Switch Online.
    • PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Released May 2021 as part of Capcom Arcade Stadium.
    • iOS and Android. Released July 2021 via the au Smart Pass Premium Classic Games service, exclusively on Japan.
    • Also included in the following retro consoles: Retro-Bit Generations 2 (2017, Japan exclusive), Super Retro-Cade (2017, English exclusive), Arcade1UP (2018, English exclusive), Mega Drive Mini/Sega Genesis Mini (2019, America, Europe and Asia versions only), Capcom Home Arcade (2019, Europe exclusive), Evercade EXP (2022, English exclusive), Super Pocket (2023, English exclusive).
  • Strider (NES). Released July 1989 in America only.
    • Strider (Tiger Handheld). Released 1990 in America only. A handheld game based on the NES Strider.
    • Game Boy Advance. Released September 2006 as part of Capcom Classics Mini Mix, in America only.
    • Also included in the following retro consoles: Super Retro-Cade (2017, English exclusive), Go! Retro Portable (2018, English exclusive).
  • Strider II. Released 1990 for Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC. Licensed by Capcom USA, developed by Tiertex, published by U.S. Gold. Ported to the following:
    • Master System. Released April 1993 in Europe only.
    • Mega Drive/Sega Genesis. Released March 1993 in America and Europe only. Fully titled Journey from Darkness: Strider Returns in America.
    • Game Gear. Released August 1993 in America and Europe only. Titled Journey from Darkness: Strider Returns in all territories.
  • Strider 2. Released December 1999 for Arcades. Ported to the following:
    • PlayStation. Released February 2000. Published by Virgin Interactive in Europe.
    • PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita. Released August 2014 via PlayStation Network. PlayStation Portable version taken down July 2021 following the retirement of its digital store.
  • Strider (2014). Released February 2014 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC via Steam, all digitally. Physical version for PlayStation 3 only in Japan. Developed by Double Helix Games and Capcom.

  • Run Saber. Released June 1993 for Super Nintendo by Horisoft. Not released in Japan.
  • Cannon Dancer. Released February 1996 for Arcades by Mitchell Corp, known as Osman in the West. Ported in 2023 to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
  • Moon Diver. Released March 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 by Square-Enix.

    • SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters. Series of trading card games between Capcom and SNK. Three entries. Released between 1999 and 2006.
    • Capcom Fighting All-Stars. Cancelled 2002 3D fighting game.
    • Dragon's Dogma Quest. Card-based spin-off released July 2013 for mobiles and PlayStation Vita.
    • Street Fighter × All Capcom. Character card game released November 2013 for mobiles phones.
    • Monster Hunter Generations. Released July 2016. Includes Hiryu's Cypher and uniform in a DLC promotion.
    • Street Fighter V. Released February 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PC. The season 2 character Zeku is inspired by Hiryu in both design and animations.
    • Capcom Super League Online. Cancelled 2018 Korean-developed turn-based strategy game.
    • TEPPEN. Card-based video game released July 2019 for Android and iOS. The 2021 expansion update "A Dark Agenda" introduces the Strider series to the game. In the January 2024 expansion Hiryu was introduced as a playable character via EX Skin.
